hi, I’m Tessa.

When I was little I spent hours and hours drawing the same scene. There was always a pond, some trees and an over growth of flowers surrounding it. I was drawing my home, and scribbling it down on a piece of paper was my way of keeping it close to my heart. I found a lot of comfort in focusing my energy on these drawings and knew that I could confidently rely on that little bit of solace to find my peace and from that, my love for art grew. As an adult I’ve carried that same love and explored different mediums and subject matters before discovering my obsession for oil paints and the water. I aim to capture the all-encompassing energy of the sea and my love for my work, as well as painting foods to keep me from taking myself too seriously. In short, hi, I’m Tessa. I’m an Indonesian self taught artist and I want to share my art with you.
